Wow looks good my granite metallic brother. I may have to pick a cover up on ebay after all seeing as paying to get it painted was all that was holding me back.

It depends upon the state you live in as to whether or not a front plate is needed here.

I needed one in Michigan, but removed the plate holder when I moved to Florida. Now, with my front bumper painted, the holes are gone too.

Thanks for the compliments. I didn't think it looked that great...YET. I'll give it another few days to cure and I'll wet sand and polish it up. I'm now seriously considering trying to get a used fender (since mine has a dent in it) and painting that along with the bumper since the paint matches perfectly. I've repainted a fender before and it went very well, so to save some cash over going to a body shop I'll probably do it myself. If I don't like the results I can just cover it up with the bra until I fix it.

FINISHED pics below. Make sure to look back at the before pics. Massive improvement.

I wet sanded and used some rubbing compound. It looks PERFECT. EXCEPT the paint around some of the letters was thinner than I thought and I sanded too far through the paint. :( So I'm pissed and now I will probably do it over. It'* absolutely flawless otherwise...smooth as glass and reflects like a mirror.
