Default How do you clean rims?

I got me a set of Silver Crosslaces, but they're caked with brake dust. How do I clean them? I've tried Go-Jo and Krud Krutter. What works well?

Or get some fast orange or engine degreaser. I usually just use some standard aluminum wheel cleaner, but then again my ghetto golds don't get 'baked on dirty' -at least not if I can help it -I've only put about 100 miles on Ol Blue since I bought The Addiction, but I've cleaned the ghetto golds more than once. Now i'm gonna put em on The Addiction for a photo shoot. Should be cool with the black/ghetto golds.

Hose them with wheel cleaner.

Then run your fingers in circles in each hole.

Another thing to do is cover in wheel cleaner, then i use the leftover washing soap and a sponge ontop of that. I dunno if it'* mixing chemicals or what, but that helps a lot more then either by itself.

That'* exactly what I do, but I use a toothbrush instead of a finger. I don't have to do that any more, anyway. Not with the Ceramic pads.

I just squirt on the wheel cleaner, brush with a large wheel brush, and hose it off. Evidence in Your Ride

I use Turtle Wax 2001 rim cleaner....
Spray it on... use the Black Magic soft rim brush to do the major cleaning... then I use the Blakc Magic Spoke brush (wicked tool) to clean the spokes and inside the rim. Then wash.

not to be picky... shouldn't this be moved to "Detailing"?
