IIRC the plastic is all molded together.

But i was wondering if i was to some how pry it open WITHOUT cutting.Once it is opened i wanted to try and see if that "orange plastic " or amber lense in the tail light will be removeable so it can just be clear. And just seal the housing back up with some RTV sealant....Because i seen one on "cardomain" i think it was a 97 Bonnie SE though and he had that orange peice that im talking about clear. And i was just reading and looking at pics on a forum on here where a guy with a 2000 SSei removed his amber lenses in his tailights by prying it open someway and just reaching in the tail light housing and just removing the lense easy as that...

i guess you could cut the amber part out and glue some clear plastic where it was.

Question

I know this may sound dumb hahaa. But i gotta ask is that amber lense on my tailights is it just a solid orange peice of plastic or does it have some type of orange film on the back of it .If thats the case IF ITS ONLY an orange film on the back of it i would just use something that would strip the orange color away to make it clear if i can get the taillight housing open..Sounds like a plan if its possible.
