I was surpised that the outcome was that good. No glare, some hotspots, some dim areas, but overall, not bad. Better than the Halogens. Those halogen pics actually look brighter than what they were. In the rain, you couldn't tell the headlights were on. Now, it'* obvious.

I'll be interested to see what the guys on the RSX forums say about it. That'* the board i trolled to get info on HID kits and whatnot.

depending how into it you are, I would crack them open and see if there are foreground limiters on the projectors and if there are cut them off.

Yea, there are shields in there that define the upper cutoff. Why would I cut them off? They're held in with screws...

Anyhoo, Ya gotta leave them there in order to prevent glare to oncoming traffic. Kinda need 'em. If you remove them, you get a big spot of light. Perfect for high beams, crappy for low beams.

no no no, foreground lighting is right in front of the vehicle. notice how there are 2 "cones" that are not lit as well right in front of the vehicle? a foreground shield would be creating those darker areas.

you definately need to leave the main cutoff shield in.

Ah... Gotcha. I didn't see anything like that in the assemblies when I had them apart to clean the projector lenses. I saw the cutoff, but I think the rest of the pattern is just due to the shape of the reflector inside. They're not high-quality projectors, just cheap "JDM" type knockoffs.

It'd be really cool to do projector retrofits on yours. That'd really give you some nice light.
