Default Help with Bonne'* Bra

On my '98 SE I bought a LeBra bra to cover up some bumper damage, as a cheaper alternative to buying a new bumper. The bra worked very well once on, and I never had any problems with it, except for when I looked under it. I noticed some fading of some sort on the hood, but it really didn't bother me too much. Now I have an '02 SE, and this one already had some bumper damage, and with it being cold, its cracked a little more here and there. So my question for you guys is... Should I pay $80 for a bra, and have it sun fade on my hood, or pay the big bucks to have the bumper fixed or replaced? I personally really like the look of the bra, but is it worth the sun fading? I NEED Help!

The Bra'* are good for keeping road damage down to a minimum for long hauls or during the winters months, but eventually they will cause damage to the paint due to rubbing and or fading if left on too long or not taken care of.

It'* your choice on what you care to do and it'* all about the money. IMO...if you can afford it, get the bumper fixed and use the bra only as a necessity.

If you like the look of the bra, and it covers the damage, go for it. Unless your considering reselling the car while it'* still has some real value (Not long considering its 8 years old) You said you like the look, so if you plan on keeping it long term, buy 2 while they are still stocked. LOL They are cheap enough.

I have the clear plastic on my 94 and it can take a beating. It is from 3M. I am glad to have it as in Alberta Canada there seems to be an excess amount of flying rocks!! Good luck.
