headliner/ removal of things holding it up,... help
The handles are tricky. There'* typically a center clip that pulls out then wiggling and probably breaking something
After that... you may want to search on headliner by John Deere Boy and Harofreak00, they both did great writeups on fixing their headliners.

i redid the headliner on my 95 ssei, here is what i did...

the headliner is held up with:
both visors and clips (remove the 2 screws for the visor piece, and pull the tabs for the other part)
passenger "oh ****" handle (pull the tabs out with a needle nose pliers, they are very brittle!!!)
rear "oh ****" handles (pull the tabs out the same)
sunroof trim ring
velcro pieces on the rear

well i ended up giving up after getting all the handels out. The sun visors have wires that lead to the visors through a small hole in the headliner board,... i dont want to screw up the wires or cut them. i have a 96 se. getting the handels out was a pain in the ***.
thanks a lot for the information.
