well i swapped the highbeams for the silverstars and the foglights.. well i went to walmart and they didnt even have a place for what you were talking about in the right size, but thanks for the help! anyways, i think once it warms up a bit i'm going to go ahead and try and clear the corners.. i'm a little hesitant because if it breaks something i am too poor to buy a new assembly, haha. you said there was a thread in techinfo about how to remove the whole thing in a 2000 bonne right? have very many people used the provided link for clearing the corners (successfull!)? Thanks guys,

cook it in your oven at 150° for a couple minutes and the adhesive will soften right up.

Very succesful, it was the first mod I ever did to my car, and it was the easiest thing! I'm not one that does good on reading about it, but when they had the pictures step by step guide, simply easy!

Default 3157

ok so i am getting ready to actually get it apart and remove the reflectors. This is taking long then I have expected as my ingnition module crapped out last week and I have been struggling to find time to fix everything and with college semester just starting up again. I was reading on the clear corners link and it seems straight forward enough, my question is i had read there was a clear (or silver) bulb that would light up amber from sylvania. Can anyone give me a link to this? an amber bulb would look rather akward, and if they have a nice halogen or ultra-bright bulb that is clear/silver and lights up amber that would be ideal. Anyone out there have a suggestion? i know the bulb is a 3157 but i am looking for that perticular variant. Thanks!

the bulb is a silverstar. it looks chrome when off, then it turns amber when you use it. dont have the link, sorry. the bulbs look cool, get them if you can find them.

I think these are the correct bulbs. Confirmation would be good though.
