This is the thread on Pontiac Bonneville Club. I was thinking the source was linked, but it's not, just referenced, but it is a fairly decent write up. Seems to be holding up well so far. |

Had the same problem before, bought Megs heavy duty headlight restoration kit. Sanded it down and buffed it out. Honestly worked well. But you have to apply the sealant that is included with the kit every week just to protect it and to avoid the hazing problem repeat.

I wet sanded and cleared my tail lights. Someone put tint on them. Basically use the grits you said and have at it. After the clear dried I buffed them out.
