I think he means he will trade and then you pay extra. But I havnt looked at a gxp lately, Maybe compare your car pics with a gxp members pics.

Now i know those arnt the best pics, but i looked over like 10 different pics of each car on Google and each GXP headlight does look darker. :?

well mine arent darker and there is a new set on the way.. I'll compare when they get here

They are different part numbers....
The part number he has is 15220039 (left) 15220040 (right).
My 2001 headlamp part number is 25718687 (for the left, and ends in '6' for the right).
I saw an older lady driving around in a GXP with the darker headlights. I would say those are stock for '05'*. I doubt the lady I saw would smoke them herself.
I'm guessing that'* accurate...?

I've e-mailed this auction host and he says he'* an auto wholesaler and has much more demand for the clear headlights and would rather keep those in stock. Makes sense to me. He says he has SEVERAL sets of the GXP headlights. Group rate???
I'm assuming that the GXP headlights would still shine nice and brightly through the smoked lenses?
