GXP gear shift
Hey
I need a new gear shift for the 2001 SE. Mine now is black and its all cut up, dont know why..it came that way.

Will the GXP ***** fit on the SE models?? I like the look of the metal peice there.
If it doesnt, are there any websites (besides ebay, been there and dont have it) that would carry something like that? I dont care if its aftermarket and looks ok.

dumb question, if my car year is 2001, wouldnt i already have the 2000+ shift boot? OR, do i need to swap out that entire unit, not just the shifter ****.
I thought you can just take off the ****.
Does anyone out there know where to order GXP brake and Gas Pedals too?
yes, im turning my car into a wanna be GXP. and i like it
well the look of it anyway.

you will be fine with the boot

The brake pedal is rubber backed so that you simply slip off the old one and slide the new one on. The accelerator pedal is retained by a pressed-in pin that can be pushed out and back in with a few simple tools in your home garage.

Thanks for the confirmation reply but I don't need it any longer. I headed over to the local JY after I wrote that and found a wrecked '05 GXP 
. Sadly he had already sold the wheels and tires for $600 :( but I picked up the pedals for $20 
. He has the shift **** too and said he'd let it go for $50 but I passed. I like mine alot and his is probably badly scratched since the car has been cut in half and is sitting out. He has the seats too which leads to my next question, how would I clean the suede insert?

BTW, I tried to get the lights and body kit too but he is keeping it together and won't part out. Could get each side taillight for $150 apiece but would have to buy the decklid for the center :( .
