Default GXP Clone

Hello, I have a 05 SE and was wondering what kind of problems I would encounter putting a SLE or GXP front bumper and rear bumper on my SE? Are the headlights the same on a SE? Thanks for any info about this as I already Have the GXP rims and side emblems.

Should be no problems transferring the body cladding and bumper covers. If you don't mind me asking, do you live in Illinois, Jerseyville area? I saw a car in that area that had wheels and badges, nothing else, an SE if I remember right too, white. Is that you? Welcome to the forum.

Headlights on a GXP have a darker tint to them, but it will not matter for fitment.

Thanks Harofreak00, That makes sence because I was looking at an auction on ebay for headlights and it was mentioned in the auction that for 03-05 bonnevilles except GXP. So thats why I thought maybe the lights were different. But it is actually just the tint factor.

Please keep non-mechanical issues out of the mechanical sections. Moved to Detailing and Appearance.

As Haro mentioned, they are darker in tint. In addition, they use different high beam bulbs. It is an HIR-1 and I don't believe the standard 9005 bulb will fit without some form of modification.

The rear bumper could be a problem...the SLE & GXP has a dual exhaust output...the SE only has a single...unless they changed them from the 00'*...

Good point, I didn't consider that. You may be able to hang dummy tips if you just want the look. Otherwise you will have to get duals off of an '05 SLE.

& if you buy the fromt bumper for an sle or gxp, you will need all the plastics from underneth. even the ones from the wheel wells. they are model spesific & dont interchange. & for the door moldings I belive you will need to drill some holes on your door.
