I think he was just asking if it'* OK to use a claybar (the stuff you use to remove paint contaminants) on the glass.

What about the HUD-equipped cars? I am told there'* a special windshield coating to help the projections show up better. Does any sort of polishing diminish this?

As far as I know, thats INSIDE the glass.

I'd claybar the inside That'* probably filthier than the outside, anyway.
