I dont really like how the front badge looks. So Im doing an overlay out of fiberglass.

Dont know if its noticeable in this picture, but the pice I made snaps in to the grove that is all around the original pice.

And this is how it looks.

Now let me tell you guys my idea, & I want opinions.
I was thinking that since the pice I made is semi-transparent... If I paint it with the same stuff we use to paint the lights. then cut the red part out of the original pice. & place a red LED bejind it. Maby it wil shine. But Im thinking that if I go to all this trouble & then it dont shine. Wish there was a clearer material to work with than fiberglass.

Transformer FTL....
i would stay away from putting a "theme" on your car... sure, the transformers are cool, but do you want everyone to think of the movie and or cartoon when they see the car? and alot of people will think your pretty nerdy for using them.

They where purchased at Hot Topic. They where pins, but I grinded the back pin out. & they came with a dark paint over a crome finsih. I used chrome polisher to clean them out. You can tell in picture that one is done and the other is not. I think they were about $5.99 each. & Hot Topic has autobots, desepticons, optimus head,& bumblebes head. Plus If you prefere stickers, they have a couple of cool ones too.

If you want a clear resin for your front. Go to a hobby shop and get some resin used in model trains. Years ago, many many years ago I built a train and made a lake. It was a bottle and I added a catalist, after a few hours it was hard as a rock, and crystal clear.
