Freakin CATS! .... Help!
I have a problem.
The Cats are loving to jump on my newly waxed and beautiful Black SSEi. I guess they like to be seen on a great ride too. But they are scratching my paint and hood.
Anybody else have this problem and what have you done to stop the problem.
I can't afford a $2000 paint job, any more scratches and bye bye Kitty.Your not worth 2K.

What I do is knock the damned cat off the car. None of that be nice set 'em down on the ground crap, I mean swat the bastard off. The neighborhood cats here see me in the living room window and get away from the car. It works.
My problem is the opposite. With fresh wax, the cats don't like the lack of traction. And be careful swatting the cats off. If they dig in, you're hosed. Try a hard shell wax to help protect it. Liquid Glass is like adding another clearcoat. Very tough. You can't put it over other wax, but you can do 2-3 coats of it, then wait a sunny week, and add wax over it.

car cover. My clear coat is comming off, any of your neighborhood cats that want to scratch the rest of it off are welcome to. Just leave the paint
. I've found the worth animal to have on a car is a bird.. because they will totally take 5 dumps, right on the most visable part of the car, no matter what.

hmmm, my cats get on the cars but they dont scratch them. Pick up the cats by the back of the neck, give em a few swats on the face/nose while saying NO loudly, then drop them. After you do this a couple times they will learn the lesson.

lol
If you have a water gun, fill it with a strong mixture of tobasco sauce, then squirt the cats off the car.
It doesn't matter where you get them because as soon as they lick it off they are in for a surprise they won't forget soon.
It works.
So do lead pellets but they can do serious paint damage.

i've thought about busting out the bb gun then i though if i miss there does the paint or even worse a window. I hate cats. Since my car is white I can definatly see the prints after it rains... Dman cats.
