The headlights on my GTP were fogged bad when I first got it. I wet sanded them with 2000 grit, then buffed with compound, they looked just like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Almost a year later they are still clear.

You'd think Morty would have remembered from paint removal day that TB/Intake cleaner does NOT remove paint. Carb cleaner does.

Neither can be good for plastic headlights though.

Meguiars Plast X is the best stuff to use on plastic lenses, inside and outside.
Its like a polish compound.

I've used a bit of black magic metal polish before also, on my plastic truck lenses. It was what I had on me at the time. I finished it off with some plastic wax and they are still nice and shiny.

Your local AZ or Advance likely carries packets of plastic lens polish you can get really cheap. I know mine do.

my friend has an infiniti fx and it fogged up in the headlights and it was still under warranty so when it was taken to the dealer they just took apart the headlights and polished them. that took care of the problem.
