I think the main reason you don't see many is because HID HL projectors will produce a ton of foreground light to begin with. The only HID fogs I'd get would be 3000k for bad weather situations, but that obviously doesn't get you the matched look you're going for :?

I do agree with Bob above. If you get the HL you mentioned in another thread, there wont be any use for foglights. It would be nice to have matching, but the lens on those is kinda hideous too.

Screw fog lights, put a turbocharger behind each opening..

Not too many Bonnies out there with HID projectors anyway but I have a feeling that won't be lasting too long from the sound of things around BC. A member just did halogen projectors in his 2000+ model though.

The pictures section of www.hidplanet.com has some good step by step pictures of retrofits but none are Bonneville specific that I know of.

Edit-
You've seen the blue/purple flicker from other cars with HID projectors before right? It'll look like that I can't seem to find a video at the moment, but those retrofit projects are displayed very well on that website.

Agreed. $500 on fogs seems really high. I spent less than $100 with the hella driving lights/angle eyes with yellow bulbs and I can see great.

But It seems if they come with HIDs that they would make the reflector go with the lights...

why not just get halogen fog lights and bulbs with a color temp close to w.e you chose for your HID'*.....example, silverstars are said to be around 4100k.....which I personally doubt you will be able to tell much of a difference between 4100 and 4300

500 fog a set of fogs is a little rediculous, especially if they are not designed to be fog projecors.

I do find it interesting though that you just mentioned putting 2 low beam HID projectors and having them retrofitted yet the hella 90mm module that is a HID low beam you seemed to not like.

also, it would be nice it all your project questions were in one thread.
