I remember how nervous I was the first time I washed down my engine bay. would have thought I was defusing a bomb or something.
Once you've taken a jeep through mud puddles where the water line comes up to just below the air intake ( at wich point the enging is pretty much submerged) you realize a little hosing won't hurt it.
all the advice I've read here won't steer you wrong

well, this helps me too, my paint just came in (picking it up tommorrow) and i was gona go at painting some things under the hood...but that only happens after i get the licece plate bracket and windsheaild wipers painted and repainted
