Um yeah, i dont think ill be clearing them. i cant scuff them or it will show, and if i clear without there to be something to bite to it will peal or chip eventually

Peter, use epoxy wheel coat clear. It won't chip, and you don't have to scuff. Mine have been through a few rough car washes already, and I seriously doubt they'll start to chip any time soon. Not any sooner than my steel wheels for the slicks will chip with the same stuff on them.
