I can see this mod in my future. What tool did you use to crimp the connecxtors on to the wire?

Even though I'm not one of the 2000 + crowd, that was an excellent write-up and very detailed.

Looks like it definately from the factory

Must just be the picture. I didn't make any attempt at modifications to the speakers or grilles.

I wanted to purchase a Delphi tool. Because each of the four different terminals uses a different die set, I would have needed the crimp tool frame and four die sets. Each die set alone is $150.00. This would have been the better part of $1,000.00 USD. As a result, I decided to use a generic tool for about $60.00. I have to crimp each terminal twice (once for the wire and once for the insulation), but it does an alright job of things.

This is it here:

No, unfortunately not. The only wiring you'll have is for parts/options already installed.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I appreciate all the support!

Just a quick update regarding this procedure...

I have added the following information:

1. Wire lengths for each segment and the terminals on each are together in one location.
2. Additional photos of connections for the rear doors.
3. *** Preventing water leaks after re-assembly of the doors.
4. Information on part availability.

Hope this is helpful!
