It means the amber lense has been removed from the corner lamp. Purely cosmetic mod..

purely cosmetic. they are a corner lamp, the 194 bulbs don't emit much light; they are not a "Cornering" lamp...

No... it'* all about the clean look of colorless lenses. You use and amber bulb instead of a clear bulb with amber lense. Does nothing in terms of functionality, but it looks nice.

I haven't done mine, but I might at some point.
