If those bulbs are yellow for the corners I'd highly recommend getting the chrome (amber when on) version @ www.autolumination.com. You can see a yellow bulb through the clear corners still.

Thanks dude, wat about the ones im using for the middle parking lights? will those cause any problems or anything? cuz i heard the ssei models having trouble with led'*, wat about the SE'*?

There'* no lamp monitor on the SE'* that would detect a different resistance in the circuit. I'm not the LED expert either. I got chrome 3157'* just like the 194'* I mentioned above. They look and work great in my opinion.

Okay Ive installed sum led clear when off amber when on bulbs in the side markers and the clear corners from ebay just arrived, heres what shes looking like now



Im lovin it

next im gona try to paint the inner parking bulbs chrome and see if they are still amber when on, if not ill go buy some silverstars or sumthin, but that'll be tomorrow

Alright so ive talked to a friend about painting the inner bulbs and told him I plan on using this:



he told me it will NOT work because the bulb is made of glass and that when it gets hot the paint will melt off, is this true? can anyone who knows about this or has painted theyre bulbs help me? id REALLY appreciate any help

your friend is wrong.....make sure you just MIST the bulbs, i have my front turnsignals painted and they have been fine for 3 years now, i have also did this recently to a Cobalt SS and it was the same result....no problems yet and its been a month at least

Thats what I had in mind, just lightly coating it but he wouldnt listen. thanx alot bro! im gona get on this rite away and see the look on his face after my whole front end iz clear

My center bulbs have been misted for at least 3 years (gotta figure a couple of Minnesota winters in there). If you get up close, you can see some craking in the paint. But just looking at them, without digging for details, they look fine. And I used DupliColor chrome, too. Different label on my can, but like I said, it'* been a couple of years...

Finally finished clearing the front end, im very satisfied with it. Id like to thank everyone for theyre support and input on this, I couldnt have done it without you guys
