Default Cleaning floor mats

Lost this thread in the crash, but in simple terms, if you have a super-capacity washing machine (and the wife is out shopping) use the gentle cycle. A large commercial 'tumble' type washer would work too.

I'll get the pics of my clean mats re-posted later.

I used a high pressure wand at the car wash. Blasted some soap through them, and rinsed. You can see all the dirt come right out. Works great especially when you use some carpet cleaner on it first as well. Never thought of using a washing machine. How do the mats hold their shape in it?

Held up great. No problem. Use hot water. The mats become much more flexible that way, then lay them flat to dry again.

I'll have to bring my mats to the laundromat with my car cover in the spring. They should be pretty nasty by then. I'm interested to see those pics of your clean mats.

His mats were damn clean. I'll have to do that at school sometime. But i will need a way to clean the carpet on the bottom of the car. I'm thinking a steam cleaner type material? I have some heavy dirt places that the previous owner left.
