So far since i bought the Alero I've:
The day i got it: Liquid glass precleaner, then the polish
A day later i used Meguiars Liquid gold class on it
Then one month later...last week..I used the meguiars gold class paste on it, then i used Never Dull on the wheels, and foaming tire shine on it.
I take care of it, i dont want the paint to turn out like the Bonneville!

Does anyone really do all this? I don't think so. I'd end up spending more time on the car than my wife!

I do all but the following about every 2 weeks (it is nice having a job washing cars when theres nothing to do.)

emblems, etc. Apply correct preservative, protectant, clean cracks
Polish,Clean stains. Bead to hub, polish wheel & lugs
Paint: Sealer/glaze Paint: Wax Thoroughly clean leather surface and recondition
Paint: Pre-wax cleaner/polish

I do use micro wax on the head and tail lights to give it that extra shine and use mist and shine or shine as you dry occasionaly.

I recomend wiping out all of your door jams every time you wash it to dry and keep it clean it only takes a couple of sec while you are at it you can get the extra dirt splatter that may be on the under edege of the car behind tires that did not get removed.

I do that list to the T most of the time. Since the car wash is outside the bay doors of the limo shop, its a one stop deal for me. Plus I used to detail cars in my earlier years[lol] as a job.
