i think that it it is down to the primer and it isnt from following so close though it gets worse every time i hand wash it
thus i am to afraid to powerwash it

Unforunately, this is pretty common in GMs. I've got lots of spots like that myself (of course, living up north where they salt and sand the roads makes it even worse). Not a lot you can do at this point but get some touch up paint.
Be glad yours is just little spots. I got this to deal with....

Looks like it, but there'* no damage to the body or the primer. The paint just don't wanna stick to the primer in that spot (and a couple of others). With the hood closed, you can barely see it, luckily. But knowing it'* there drives me freakin' nuts!!
And, at least up here, I see tons of GM'* with much worse than mine. There'* a Corisca I see a lot in North Minneapolis that is almost nothing but primer.
The LeSabre I had before the bonne had some big old patches missing. No body damage, exposed primer loked perfect (no scuffs or scratches) which made me start to notice it on other GM cars. I've even read it about it elsewhere. Apparently GM had some pretty low standards on paint and, as I said before, it'* actually pretty common. Don't know for sure what years, and I'm too lazy to find the article again right now....

Ive got one or two spots down almost down to the metal from salt chips. I just gonna leave'em till I get back and have the entire car repainted cadillac tri-white. Im sick of repairing the salt hits every winter. Goin south were most people dont know what road salt is.
