if you take it off everytime you wash you should be ok. I would be worried about paint fading and scratching.

I think I got mine at www.carbras.com for about $100. Afer seeing wht it did to my paint I wouldn't get another one ever again. If you goal is to protect your paint, I'd look into that new clear 3M strip that you stick over your hood where the bra would normally cover. I haven't seen it myself, but have heard a few good things about it.

I had (key word had) a bra on my last car. NEVER again would I use another one. Dirt debris get under the bra and scratch the **** out of your paint. Also if you have any nicks or chips on your hood they WILL rust unless you take it off in rain, winter, or even a simple car wash. This is from experience!

Ditto, I have my hood off in my garage and will vouch for this same thing. I can even get pics of my ruined hood because of JUST the bra!!!!

I use mine on long trips, That'* it. I try to layer the wax more down there too.
