I used to carry those dusting wipes in my car. I had more free time last year, so as you might expect, I haven't been keeping up with the cleaning. My question is, does a product exist that would repel dust, at least for a period of more than a few minutes?

I can't believe how much dust collects on my dash in a few days time.

Dust is pretty much inevitable. It will form no matter what. Just cleaning it often with armor all or whatever is the only way to keep the interior presentable. At least this is from my experiences.

what type of towels are you using??

If you rewash your towels and dry them in your dryier until they are completely dry the towels will be static. I would suggest that if you wash your own towels then wash them dry them 1/4-1/2 way and then hang dry them. The wont be static and wont give your dash a static charge. Which attracts dust.

Dust mainly comes from people
Clean the car, and don't let anyone in it..... best way.


But seriously.... I use the Mothers Protectives... they seem to work really well.
Doesn't really "repel" the dust... but keeps things shiney

The only way to combat the dust is to wipe it off on a regular basis. You dont have to clean it everytime, just wipe off the dust.

Personaly I think that armor all attracts the dust more than anything.......I use glass cleaner....Sure it don't give the nice shine.....but I can keep the dust away for a few weeks or so....Granted I have a tan dash it'* kinda hard to see the stuff anyways,

I've seen furniture polish that claims to repel dust. I've been using the disposable dust wipes. They work great, but the dark grey dash just seems to show the dirt faster.

Get a california car duster, they have mini ones for inside.
