I didn't think the wrinkles would come out either. I was very polite to them and brought it in today, they said 2-3 windows may need retinted. Thats kind of ridiculous. The level of flaws in this tint job is terrible enough to go to the BBB about, its THAT bad. How the tinter could have even been satisified with that job is stunning.

But hopefully they get it all worked out...I have an appt. with them on the 7th.

How about some pictures of the defects...
I still say to keep a level head and go to the next level of management if you are not satisfied.
Do your best not to threaten anyone or punch someone in the nose like we just read about recently.

It all depends on where you live and what state.

In up state NY the normal price is 25-35$ per each windows. and those little vent windows count as a window

and in CT the normal price is $200-300

It'* hard to say. Around here, that price he paid is about average with all the shops contacted. I've read in Texas it'* unheard of to pay more than 120 for tinted windows on a sedan. Location matters big time. Hope the OP gets it taken care of.

See what happens on the 7th when you go back. It could be that there was a new person...a hungover person...the boss/manager was out that day... I'd give them the chance to fix it first. I believe that'* what the BBB does anyhow...they usually won't ding a business unless they do not correct the situation.

Yea...I was VERY polite to the manager that I spoke to when I took it back Friday. He said "thanks for your patience" and offered to give me some money off on anything else I have done there (I was planning on doing some audio stuff). I TOTALLY agree that kindness typically works better. I'll be my best to them until they screw it up again. Then I may be a little irritated.

I'll post some pics asap of the flaws. They're not nearly as noticeable from the outside as they are on the inside. As for the price, believe me...I shopped around ALLLOTTT. I called about 15 places in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton metro area. The average was around $180-$190. A few places that used metallic tint (not compatible w/ Bonnes due to the integrated window antenna) were around $150ish. Ultimately I chose them because they are a well known installer of many things, used Llumar tint w/ the CompuCut system and offered a guarantee. The price was $209 plus tax and some random charges made it $228, making it about $40 more than the average. High, yes. But not ridiculous. I thought I was paying for the best.

I have faith that they'll get it right this time and I won't have to get shitty or report them to the BBB.

Where are you located? There is a place in Mentor just a few miles from me I have heard nothing but good about called "Solar Solutions" if this doesn't work out for you.
