Default Brighter bulbs

I've been thinking about this for awhile now, but lastnight I finally decided I need to do it. I want brighter lights bulbs. Now what I'm stuck on is this, I don't know if I should go with HID'*, Projectors ( hoping a BC member post how he did it ) or just get Silverstar ultras. Now I don't know what would be better off. SoI'm asking you guys what would you do? and can you give me some pros/cons on each one.

Thank you

-Erich

well the Silverstar is your easiest option

the projectors will be custom and you will need projector housings, and some time to retrofit them ( this is one on my adjenda as i have GM Projectors and just need some time)

HID'*...dont think about doing them without a Projector housing

you have to 100% make custom mounts and mold them into the stock lights housings.

you can buy projectors from Ebay but i HIGHLY suggest reading on this forum first.

The fastest and easiest bang for the buck id Silverstars. I put them in my 2000 SSEi in about 5 minutes. The difference was noticable. Far better than the stock lights I had.

HID may be brighter and "better" in the long run, but the customization to install them will take a bit. It all depends on how much time and $$ you want to spend.

You can also put the high-beam(9005) in the low-beam(9006)side and get about 70% more lumens of light. I did this to my car and it made a big difference in the light out put.

Do the Silverstars last as long as stock bulbs. Do a lot of driving at night through the woods and would like brighter lights. Also has anyone tried the Hella brand?

THanks,

I love the Silverstars, I have some in mine and the wife'*. Very huge difference over stock. Half the time the oncoming traffic think I have my brights on.
