I just ran up to autozone and asked for a brighter bulbs they gave me some and heck for 11 bucks I'll try these out...I'll tell ya later tonght how it came out..

Whoops, kill me for not reading. For some reason I was thinking of the 92-99...

The 1157 will obviously work, but they don't ppear to have 1057s on that store.

The guy at autozone gave me these 3347 bulbs..I put them in and they seem to look the same to me..I'm going to get a friend to drive behind me to tell me if he can see me now but any other ideas?

The bulbs that the guy at autozone looks the same as the original ones...You can see them but I guess farther away you can't..

Any ideas? or is there a way or stripping the VHT off?

Does it matter if for the back up lights the LED isnt a tower? as in does the light still need to go around 360*

The reverse lights aren't a big issue. They are designed to focus their light somewhat anyway. The reason it'* better to have the tower of LEDs in a brake/tail is so it lights up the entire fixture, which isn't an issue for reverse lights.

Thanks Gonneville, with 20% tint its real hard to see when backing up at night . I think I'll try these in the back up lamps and see if they help.

Would this tower help me out with my light issue? Cause the guy at autozone was telling me how LED'* aren't any brighter then the normal bulbs..

I would say that the guy at autozone may be wrong because looking at these pics http://pern.homedns.org/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=5895 would make me think otherwise. Those almost blind me just looking at the pictures
