Ahh, I see what you're saying now.

I knew you didn't think it was a cosmetic mod, by that I just meant that to protect the paint you have to cover it up. Though bras don't look as good as the bare front end, and sometimes ugly, the fact is that your paint is protected with it and that'* the whole point of a bra. It'* not how the car looks when the bra is on, but how it looks when the bra is off.

Well, I've personally been considering one for my car just to cover up how crappy my front bumper looks.. can't decide which is worse looking....
That'* another reason to use one. My front bumper is fairly battered which is why I don't feel as bad covering it up.

I vote no bra. Grimm and I are both pretty heavy into detailing and we both say no(if that means anything). A bra is guaranteed to harm the paint to some level. I like my car to look good all the time so having a bra on it would not be acceptable. If I was really worried about paint chips I would just get the 3m clear bra. Mine already has a few small blemishes that were brought out after wetsanding/buffing so when it gets too bad i'll just repaint the front end. Why have a nice front end if you can't show it?

After all the great valid points y'all presented I've decided I shall go bra less!! Anyone want a used once bra?
I always thought I looked better without my bra on!
