Bleaching the sc covers

I just cleaned mine up good, Primed it with Rust-oleum Plastic Primer, painted the whole thing with a metalic wheel paint then finished up the letters with model paint

There'* a lot you could to with those covers. You could also use wide stripping tape or Prism tape on the letters. Red, Blue, Green. You'd have to trim around the letters with a hobby knife. Wonder how it would last in the heat? Any body tried that yet?

I like the 'neat' wire looms.
I used a bit o finger nail polish on my lettering. Holds up well and you can give multiple coats for that liquid look (not too thick or it does chip).
