Default bigger tire/wheel question

lots of people get larger wheels and lower series tire in order to retain the same alignment settings, speedometer settings etc. I would like to get some 19-20in rims on so 60 series tires, which would look sweet. Everything looks ok in the rear, but when I looked in the front wheel wells it looks like the tire is already very close to the bottom of the strut.(the part that the spring sits on) Has anyone run into this same problem? or no a solution? Or does anyone have the #'* on the largest tire size we can go? Or any modifications I can do to make it fit? Or am I just imagining things and this is a non problem, and a larger tire size will fit fine?

i have 245/40/20'* and they are as big as you can go i am almost positive.
Most said that 245/35/20 was the biggest.
To go bigger you just gotta try but IMO there is no way you can fit bigger on a 20' rim without rubbing.
Maybe 245/45/19 though.

well when i when to 18'* i kept the stock tire height a increased the width and inch and everything cleared. so i would think aslong as you stayed within those peramiters you should be good.

Is that black Bonne the car you put 20'* on? Do you have any side shot pics so I could get a better idea of what it looks like?

A 60 Series tire on a 20 is a little overkill unless you got an SUV
