Default A big YES! on clear corners (updated w/pics)

I did my clear corners on my GXP last night in 45 minutes with the help of the "techinfo" article. The advice was spot on. Just a few things to emphasize when you are doing these. First, the author says be careful when prying things apart. I would add be VERWY VERWY careful at two points: when pulling the clear plastic off of the grey plastic and when popping out the orange panel. I could see them both breaking very easily if too much force was used. And if the clear breaks, well there goes two big ones.

Before you do clear corners, do yourself a favor and run down to the auto shop FIRST. I read other posts about the silverstars and will prolly get some, but being the overly anxious type I went el cheapo and got the Sylvania 3157NA LL fro $4.98. The local fuzz probably won't notice the lack of reflectors on the front end, but I wouldn't risk white turn signals, plus you'll confuse all the grannies out there.

What a difference! I always hated the look of those big orange panels against the crimson tintcoat. I'll get pictures up of both Bonnies as soon as the weather breaks. So lazy...

great! more clear corners! its been a clear corner couple days, i know of at least 2 sets of fronts and 2 sets of tails that have been done over the long weekend!

on the note of the orange pieces, i pull mine out quite violently, and have yet to break anything when clearing a set..

That looks especially good on your silver. My 96 has clear glass infront of an amber bulb. I wonder why they regressed on the 00-05s?

Ok Two Bonnies, please post up the pics. I am interested but did not think it would look too nice on the Crimson Tintcoat.

As promised. The sun is exceptionally bright this morning. I'll repost more later. The sun makes the yellow bulb flare more than normal in these pics.

Yeah, I'm gonna get some. Local store didn't have em. Still too much yellow for my liking.
Do you have the number? I'll get 'em online.
