Default arrgggg! i'll kill them all! looks like time for paint.

so elizabeth got keyed this morning. arseholes... anyway between the keying and the gian t rust spots, it looks like she'll be getting a really cheap paint job. probably flat balck.

i'd like to most if not all of the work myself. possibly even doing the rust-o-leum roll on paint jobs (i've actually seen them come out well)

anyone tried this, or have any tips for me?

I've seen the rustoleum job on another site. I wanna say it was a white corvair? It had held up for over a year. Just gotta take the time to do it right.

Yup, a corvair...

Marik, do you have a garage? If so, shoot a real coat of paint on it. Rustoleum is for farm equipment and patio gear.

Actually, Don was talking about learning to paint, perhaps he would want to use yours as a practice "canvas"

Yeah, that truly sucks doesn't it. All the really cool metallic colors are like that... GM Polo Green Metallic is a three stage paint and was just as pricey. (I dread doing the facias, front fenders, and hood on the '94 Camaro, It'* got the damn "Ecxema" of pealing clear coat and oxidized metallic like every other GM from the '90s.)

I think I will try to learn with white... Doesn't show mistakes soo bad

Where did your car get Keyed Marik?
while white hide a lot it is not very easy to shoot. **** my car was white before i painted it blue and i NEEDED to do guide coats upon initial sanding it because i could not see ****. white going on is very difficult because you need to know the pattern of the gun well, it is almost like painting blind.

i have a white car i need to paint and i am not looking foward to doing so.
