For doing it yourself, It looks great.

I finally got a small update for this thread :lol:
i got a replacment grill at ONBF (thanks MikeG) and painted it this morning and installed it after work Old grill Attachment 59779 https://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a...ribute2080.jpg Attachment 59780 New grill before Paint you can see why it needed a repaint, it was painted once before but there was lots off dry spray and it wasnt sanded that well so there was peeling :x Attachment 59781 Attachment 59782 New grill Preped for paint Attachment 59783 Attachment 59784 https://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a...ribute2075.jpg Attachment 59785 No after paint-before install pics, so il jump right to the final product you can see how sandblasted the hood is in comparison Attachment 59786 Attachment 59787 ^ already a little dusty in that pic :roll: |

well i still need to install them (ill wait till i do the body) but i painted the spare mirrors i had.
1st i removed those Fugly mold lines Attachment 58735 sanded smooth then primed Attachment 58736 sanded and Base being applyed (see top right...thats the paint gun tip) Attachment 58737 fully painted and reassembled Attachment 58738 |

This is the first time I've stumbled onto this thread, and I must say, the new paint job looks incredible, man! I can't find any overspray in any of the pics (could be resolution), and the color matches very nicely. Kudos, man! |
