Blocks UV light (Ultraviolet) from the sun to prevent your interior from fading.

Blocks IR light (Infrared) from cooking your arse to death.

Almost any commercial tint will provide an equal amount of protection from both types of light. Regardless of the VISIBLE amount of darkening.

So then could you theoretically put 100% visible tint on the windshield to protect the dash from UV? Or is the windshield already UV blocking?

All windows carry factory tint to some degree. But it could be improved with aftermarket clear.

That'* going to look awesome. Make sure we get some good shots with the tint work done.
I am considering tint for next spring, but what % and whether I do chrome, smoke, silver.... I am unsure.
Now how about some graphite 12-way seats for a 2-tone grey interior.

P.*. For some wild reason I've been under the impression that the SLEeper had tan interior.
