8500K fog lights
I was wondering, is there anything I can do to increase the voltage on the fogs to make them look as blue as the headlights. Im really not a big fan of my headlights and fog lights being different colors. or is there a fog light out there that looks as blue as the 8500K's? thanks

Voltage has nothing to do with the color temp. Color is determined by filament, the type of gas the bulb is filled with, and the coating applied to the bulb.

ok i hear ya loud and clear but then why arent the bulbs turning the same color as the headlights when there both 8500K and if my running lights have 8500K in them and they dont turn blue untill they are on high beam? I figured it was because the high beams are getting more voltage then the runnings lights since they are the same bulbs. I could be wrong...

Different materials is possible. LIght refracts through different types of plastic differently, as well as differently through glass and different types of plastic. Even different types of glass.

The real question is why do you want light output at a color temperature anything more than 4300k ??? 4100-4300 is white. |
