Default 1966 Bonneville Side Mirrors

My'66 had a factory remote mirror on drivers side and optional mirror on passenger side. I ordered replacements from Performance Years for both. They arrived this week and they are different looking mirrors (because the remote mirror is bulky/larger than the factory passenger mirror). There is nothing about the two mirrors that is alike other than they are chrome and they are mirrors. Performance Years says that is the way these mirrors came in 1966 if your ordered those options (Remote drivers and optional passenger door mirror). I am looking for anyone that can confirm that.

There is an optional passenger side mirror that was available with the driver'* side remote mirror and looks exactly like it. The mirror that PY sent you was the non-remote style. The miirors are supposed to match. A passenger side remote look-a-like is VERY expensive...IF you can find one!
My 64 Bonneville Brougham had a remote and the look-a-like on the passenger side. You see the passenger mirror on more GTO'* than anything. It is not reproduced at this time, but there is talk of trying to do it again.

Thank You for the reply. I will keep my eye open for a passenger side mirror that is similar to the remote. Thanks again.

Good luck with your search. If you find one, it probably won't be cheap.
Do you still have your original poassenger side mirror?

That is a 62-63 driver'* side remote. I just sold one of those a few weeks ago.

Got a picture of the Driver'* side? I am going to Spring Carlisle Swap meet on the 23rd and can see if I run across one. What would a good price be for one in decent shape?
