very sweet ride. my uncle had a 67 that had some of the coolest wheels. the brake drums were alum finned with a cast iron sleeve, they took 8 bolt wheels that looked like trailer wheels. the brake drum was the center of the wheel. these were the only ones i have ever seen like this

Pontiac used 8 lug wheels as an option in the early to mid 1960'*. They are my favorite wheel option of all time. As far as I know, this was a Pontiac exclusive.

Damn that 65 is huge. Probably could throw a civic or 2 in there and still have room for groceries. Awesome car though. My uncle has a restored 66 impala ss that I would love to have. Those old huge cars still look good after all this time.

Default Dream car!

i've wanted a '65 Bonneville for years and will keep on fighting for my dream! I'm glad to see others have succeeded in keeping a perfect example of this beast live and free.

Tell your dad to keep on crackin the wheels on that!
