Pretty nice. Never seen a grey brougham before! What kind of performace enhancements are you putting on it?

Still thinking about it, but I had in mind something like what you've put on yours. If you don't mind a few questions about yours: What is your opinion of the Edelbrock Performer manifold? Did you use the 2701 manifold? And what is your opinion of the Holley carb? Why did you choose it over the Edelbrock 1400 carb? Are you happy with the way it'* working? What air filter is on it? Did you upgrade the ignition at all? Are you satisfied with the cam upgrade? If you were going to do it again, would you choose the exact same parts? Thanks.

Well, to start with the intake and the carb are both really good. I choose the Holley cause I got a really good deal on it and because Holley is the best performing make, same with the intake. I 'm not sure whether it'* a 2701 or not but I know it'* a Performer EPS. I've got an Edelbrock air filter on it, and new 8.8 Accel wires. A new cap and rotor and coil are next. Along with a vacuum canister.
I word of warning on the cam. I wouldn't have gone with a better duration cam. I find that the idle has to be set too high with this cam for my tastes. I need a high stall torque converter(same as turbo Grand National) or different tranny to bring it down and a torque converter is waaay to expensive for an 86 because of style of transmission. It may be cheaper for yours because you probably have a different transmission.
But, after all of this I am very happy with the way it runs (except for the idle). It has a lot of get-up-and-go and starts very nice. Its very rumbly too.
Good luck with yours I hope you don't have any problems like mine. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

As an add on to my previous message, I installed a vacuum canister and it brought the idle down to almost stock so that makes me happy now.
