hard start / poor MPG
So
I did some more work and here is what I found. Fuel presure is 34. should be 37 to 41. When I turn off the car the presure drops quick to zero. Seems like I need a fuel pump and a presure regulator.
I put a vacuum on the regulator of 12# per the haynes instructions and the presure will rise by one #.
It is unclear if I need the regulator.

On the regulator, when you remove vacuum the pressure should go up to the high point of the rating or a little higher..
With the pressure drop it could be either the pump or the regulator..
