Default What'* a P012F DTC on a 2002 Chevy Malibu please???

Using a ScanMaster ELM type laptop computer-based scanner, the Diagnostic Trouble Code P012F is displayed. I cleared it, but the Malfunction Indicator Light comes back on, especially on a hilly highway. The ScanMaster has no description of the code and I can't find it anywhere relating to a GM car.

Any help please?

Thanks in advance.

Chris, I checked the GM website and only see P012X codes with the X always being numeric. Does the scanmaster happen to give you any wording with the code to help you understand which area to check?

I'll get it scanned with some other scanner.

Thanks again Bill for your help.
