If it'* naturally aspirated a popular mod is to add the supercharger to it that came in the SS Monte Carlo, regal, park ave, Grand Prix GTP. You need to find a doner car for the supercharger, intake, PCM.

its not quite that easy, the pcm needs tuned, because the engine is different. you dont need a new pcm just have yours tuned. the trans may or may not last very long with a super charger, its different between na and sc. what are your power goals or what do you want to do with the car?

Like others have said, you could add a supercharger(what we call a Top Swap).
Remove the existing intake system, cylinder heads and take the supercharged heads and supercharger and put them on the L36 engine. Much tuning needed here.
Or, just grab an entire L67 engine and swap them out. Done. Then send your PCM in to have it reprogramed for the L67. (The files are already out there, it just needs to be copied over)

mmmm the turbocharger looks like it takes to much work.
I don't need that much extra HP, I was thinking about a better air intake system to replace the stock one, maybe one of those msd ignitions, a better acumulator.
Just replace the stock parts for Better ones without needing to rebuild the engine and car

the gm stuff is the best on these(air and ign), no gains to be had there. mike may be able to tell you if there would be any gains from a tune for your stock parts

if its bad and you replace it with delco or delphi stuff but if its not bad you are just throwing money away. same if its bad and you put wells or airtex stuff on it you are asking for trouble.

You always gain more with less restriction in the air intake. So a cold air box and a K&N filter will get you about 5-10hp out of the box.
MSD ignition coils are JUNK. They have been tried and tried and always fail. Stay with the stock coils. Stock coils don't wear out and cause low performance, when they fail, they fail.
Upgrade your plugs and wires to 8mm wires. Spark plugs, don't really offer much performance. Stay with the recommended ones.
ABSOLUTELY stay away from the Ebay power adder junk. They do nothing.
You could gain some hp from a tune, but its recommended to get your own programmer because you need to be able to scan/log data then make changes based on that data. I always recommend to people not to use "canned" tunes or mail tunes.
Front exhaust manifold is restrictive. You can get an aftermarket manifold and it bolts on with minimal tools. Rear one does not need to be replaced because its already a good flowing one.
Other than that, that'* about all that can be done to a stock L36 without actually tearing into the engine such as cams, rockers, polishing/porting.

awesome thats what i was talking about.
i was thinking about the air intake but wasnt sure about it, now im.
no msd ok.
i already have 8mm wires, but will check them again, spark plug are the recomended ones.
and i already upgraded the manifold, best decision ever "thanks to you guys too".
