Are salvaged title vehicles worth the hassle??
Has anyone had experience or bought a salvaged vehicle? I'm looking at an 2015 Chevy Impala that has had front damage in an accident and has been repaired. Car has 45k miles and an asking price of 8k.
This is an area that I am not familiar with so would definitely appreciate some stories/feedback or experiences you guys might have.
Here'* a picture before the repairs (you can see there was definitely lots of fluid leakage at the bottom.)

I have never bought a salvaged vehicle and would always stay away from one with flood damage. Collision damage is whole another thing tho which unfortunately I do have some experience with. Insurance companies pay for cosmetic restoration, you will have hidden damage to components though, trust me. With a front end collision expect to have to eventually replace such things as front hubs, tie rod ends, other suspension components and maybe even axles and bearings much sooner than normally would be expected.
