I need some advice I have an 02 Monte Carlo coupe and I have some rusty break lines .. I am replacing the whole line to the rear not sure which one goes to where does anyone have a diagram to help me out with? Or some advice for a beginner mechanic ? I can’t seem to find any diagrams online for the exact vehicle..

IMO, once you start messing with rusty brake lines, you cause issues to the other ones. And considering you are right next to the fuel lines, and seeing those ones rusty as well, experience has always taught me that they will leak when you bump into them.

I suggest taking this to a qualified shop. They have the special flaring tools and fittings to replace brake lines.

Replace the entire lines. Don't try and piece it together.

. . . and even if you have a diagram, it'* worth tracing all of the lines first, so if you're going to do it yourself, you may as well trace all of them.
