Led lights
I was thinking of putting Led lights in my son'* Malibu(2007). I am hearing that Led lights are not good in bad weather (rain/fog/snow) . Is this generally true as in bad weather is when you need your lights the most for safety. We do get a fair bit of rain/fog/snow in our area. Any suggestions appreciated. I was looking at 6500K and 10,000 lumens per bulb
I replaced the H4 bulbs in my 1998 Honda CR-V and installed drop in LED replacements. The difference is night and day (see what I did there). I’ve driven it in rain, snow, sleet, and fog. The LED’* are better at all of it. Mine are 6500K and 2300/1700 lumen high/low beam. Are you sure the ones you want are 10000 lumen? That’* super nova bright!
A few things to keep in mind: You might need to modify the rubber sleeve behind your headlights to fit the cooling flange on the LED’*.
You will have to adjust your headlights because the light flow and scatter is different.
In snow and cold the LED’* might not generate enough heat to melt the snow off your headlights.
Make sure you buy a set that is CAN-bus compatible, or your car will throw a warning for bad headlights.

What Cerb said ^^^^^^^ , definitely the [not enough heat to melt snow off of the headlights] part. I dealt with that many times in Colorado.
. . . and, there'* a saying: "Install custom parts, get custom problems."
Cerb touched on some of that.
I'm not saying [don't do it], but rather I am saying [beware that unforeseen things might be next on your to-do list after installing them].
