I`ve have a 2002 impala and the headlamps just go out at night while driving. Dose anyone know what might be causing this. I have replace the headlamp assy and bulbs no change, replaced the headlamp switch no chancge, Some times they go out if I hit large bumps cheched power and grounds all okay. Can anyone help on this dilemma. Thanks

Do they still go out if you turn them on with the switch? You could be having a problem with the light sensor

A common problem on some w-body and n-body cars that cause problems with the headlights is the multifunction (dimmer) switch. When I first got my car, the headlights randomly went out one night. I had the MFS replaced, and they've worked perfect since. That could be something else to look into..
