Starts with throttle open.......It needs to relearn.....read the end of post 8.

So I should just go out and let it idle in drive. Do I need to disconnect the battery first or anything?

Tried it again, went up to 2k, and dropped to 400 when taking my foot off, but then went right back up and idled fine.

When you replaced the IAC, did you clean out the TB at all?

No because I didnt have to take it apart to get to the IAC. I did wipe it out at one point, but I didnt like clean it really well with TB cleaner or anything

Ok I will then. Ive been opening it up a little and starting the car, and it starts up well. So could it be that theres too much fuel and not enough air, or too much air and not enough fuel?
