Default coolant fan

I have a 2010 chevy cobalt and about a month ago I replaced both coolant fan fuses because they were both blown and now today one blew just wondering whats causing them to blow fan spins freelyband turns on when connecting wire direct but wire started to burn. Any ideas much appreciated

Sounds like fans are going bad. First I would check and make sure the grounds are good and have no corrosion.

Thank you thats what I was thinking but wanted others opinion before I buy a new fan just tired of sticking money into this car. But thanks and ill mske sure to check the grounds. Would that also explain the burning smell
