Ive had my camaro for a few months and ive come across problems here an there.. but now my car will crank up but has a problem staying on. its a manual. sometimes when stepping on the gas the engine will stall for a bit then catch itself.. nebody have a slight solution or could possibly point me in the right direction.... thanx

Start by checking over the air intake, clean filter, clean throttle body. Clean the MAF, check the throttle position sensor.

all of that was done about two weeks ago. It just started shutting off yesterday

Is the a 305 or 3.1 your not the only RS owner lol but if you can tell me the motor id have a better idea on how to help

Check the EGR valve and EGR solenoid.

sounds like the maf to me, are you getting any cel? codes?

I spke with greg and he said he had to replace the MAP in order to get mine to run right so if you have one you can swap out it would be worth trying

90-92 Firebirds had a MAP sensor on the 3.1 V6.

Also Camaros 90-92 also had a MAP sensor on the 3.1 V6.
